Sleeping in a hammock makes it easier to sleep deeply?
A new study found that when you sleep, if your body is in a swaying state, then this state will affect your brain waves and speed you up into deep sleep. This result can explain why people are soothing and relaxed in the case of slight swings. Studies have found that on gently shaking beds (hammocks), all people sleep faster and deeper. When the bed is stationary, we spend about half of our time in the initial light sleep phase; when the bed is rocked up, the light sleep phase only accounts for about 30% of our sleep time. When the bed was swaying, slightly deeper sleep increased by about 10%, from about 50% of sleep time to more than 60%.
Therefore, if you want to go to sleep as soon as possible, if conditions permit, you can try to rest in a hammock. Moreover, people with insomnia can choose to rest in a hammock to improve their sleeping conditions, which may also have a certain effect.
