Aluminum castings have low cost, good manufacturability, remelting and regeneration to save resources and energy, and their application and development are enduring. Sand casting is preferred for aluminum castings. The main reason is that sand casting has lower cost than other casting methods, simple production process, and short production cycle. Aluminum castings are made of pure aluminum or aluminum alloy ingots according to the standard composition ratio. After artificial heating, they are turned into aluminum alloy liquid or molten state, and then aluminum liquid or molten aluminum alloy is poured through professional molds or corresponding processes. A process in which aluminum parts of the required shape are formed after cooling into the cavity. Commonly used aluminum casting methods are: sand casting, die casting, low pressure casting, precision casting, lost foam casting, etc.
